All of our raw honeys are non-blended and single source, retaining flavors true to their locations. By having multiple apiaries in Oregon farm and forestland we are able to maintain a variety of honey flavors to choose from. Call 503-333-3166 for further questions. No antibiotics or dangerous chemicals are ever used in our hives. Only proven safe products, essential oils and organic acids are used to keep our bees strong and healthy. Our local honey is considered to be raw because it is never flash heated or pasteurized and is only strained to remove any incidental unwanted debris without removing the beneficial pollens.
We use glass jars instead of plastic because we believe they are best able to preserve and protect the raw honey's delicate flavors without the risk of introducing any unwanted chemicals into the honey. Glass does cost more to ship, but we feel the added expense is a worthwhile investment to ensure the quality of the honey.

Once again, we will be focusing our management priorities on colony health and overwinter survivability. We have seen some modest gains of hive numbers due to a busy spring gathering wild swarms and are improving our stock by integrating these wild bees into our apiary. Varroa mites and another anticipated wet and cold winter will be our greatest challenges as we move into next year (2023).
